CURRIER & IVES GENRE PRINTS, LOT OF TWO, hand-colored lithographs on paper, (1) "The First Care. The Young Mother", and (2) "Grandpa's Cane". Each housed under glass in a period frame, (1) oval gilt and gesso, (2) grain-painted pine. Second half 19th century. 15 1/2" x 12 1/4" sight, 21 1/2" x 18 1/2" OA; and 19 1/4" x 15 1/4" sight, 23 1/4" x 19 1/4" OA.
Condition
Very good to excellent condition, (1) print is clean with no visible damage, frame with some losses, (2) overall toning with some small stains, 1" square loss to lower left corner, frame is excellent.
