CUT GLASS STAR AND PUNTIES KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless pyriform font with cut eight-point stars, hatched punties and ovals, ribbed stem, double-step marble foot with stamped brass ornamentation, brass connector, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a Julius Ives No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel marked with patent dates "PAT JULY 21 63. DEC 10. 63. OCT 14. 1862" interior fitted with a refill feature, hinged cover marked "PAT AUG 13.1861", three-arm shade holder with impressed patent date, and an opal conical-form shade with red and gilt decorated line decoration. Non-period colorless lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 20 3/4" H to top of shade, 13 1/2" H to top of collar, 5" SQ foot. Shade 6" H, 9 7/8" DOA fitter.

Very good overall condition, font undamaged, marble with expected flakes/roughness. Burner with some scattered repairs, shade and chimney undamaged.
