CUT-OVERLAY QUATREFOIL AND STAR KEROSENE STAND LAMP, opaque white to cranberry, large compressed pyriform font with a complex pattern of cuts including stars, quatrefoils, prisms, and ovals, wafer construction, raised on a ribbed brass stem and double-step marble base with stamped brass ornamentation, period No. 2 brass collar. Fitted with a No. 3 "SOLAR" slip burner. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1860-1880. 12 1/2" H to top of collar, 4 3/4" SQ base.

Undamaged with some scattered surface wear; expected light roughness to the edges of the marble. Having some scattered minute open bubbles and discolored inclusions, all as made.
