CUT OVERLAY STAR AND QUATREFOIL WITH CUT OVERLAY STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMP, white cut to jade green pyriform font, cut quatrefoils and stars over a row of panels and ovals, cut overlay blue to colorless slightly tapered stem with elongated panels and punties pattern, single-step marble foot, brass connectors, No.2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising an E. F. Jones No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel impressed "E. F. JONES/ BOSTON / PATENT / JANUARY 11. 1859." and with a wing symbol, interior fitted with a Merrill's air director, marked "R. S. MERRILL'S PATENT. JUNE 14. 1859", stamped brass 4 1/4" D shade ring, and a colorless and frosted ball-form shade with engraved floral and a row of punties pattern. Non-period colorless chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Circa 1860-1880. 19 1/2" H to top of shade, 12 1/2" H to top of collar, 4 7/8" SQ foot. Shade 5 3/4" H, 3 7/8" D fitter.

Condition

Excellent condition, lamp undamaged, marble foot with expected minute flakes/roughness, connector with light denting and a split. Burner deflector with a light dent, shade fitter with flakes/roughness, chimney undamaged.
