DECORATED PORCELAIN LITHOPHANE LAMP SHADE, white with gilt decoration and multi-color panel decoration, one piece construction umbrella form with ringed neck, featuring eight alternating panels, various scenes including pastoral, mother with child, and sleeping children, each divided by smaller panels of complex intertwined scrollwork and framed by black-painted borders. Fourth quarter 19th century. 5 1/2" H, 7 1/2" D fitter.
