DUNCAN NO. 555 / SHELL AND TASSEL ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, colorless, including two bread trays, a salt and pepper shaker with a period lid, a covered butter dish, and four butter pads. Geo. Duncan & Sons, Pittsburgh, PA. Pattern introduced in 1880. 1 1/2" to 7 1/4" HOA. Bread: 8 1/4" x 11 3/4". Tray: 7 5/8" x 12 3/4".

Condition

Tray, covered compote, and two butter pads undamaged; remainder having scattered flaking and chipping, mainly to the rims, butter having one base rim scallop being possible down, some having some light wear.
