EDGEWORTH AND DILL'S BEST, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA ADVERTISING TOBACCO TINS, LOT OF 19, lithographed, various sizes, comprising 11 Edgeworth examples for Larus & Bro. Co., and eight Dill's Best for J.G. Dill Co., a few with remnants of tax stamps. Late 19th/first half 20th century. Largest Edgeworth 6 1/2" HOA, 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" OA.
Condition
Fair to good overall condition with wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including flakes and losses to lithograph, areas of rusting, one or a few holes, and/or denting.
Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
