EDWARDIAN IRISH STERLING SILVER FIVE-PIECE TEA SERVICE, comprising a teapot, a tea kettle, a kettle stand with original burner, a creamer, and an open sugar, each piece with die-rolled Celtic knot designs to rim and raised on three or four cabriole legs having dolphin figural feet, terminals of handles with dolphin heads, teapot and kettle with curved spouts having figural head ends, turned wood finials to lids, and wood handles. Each pieces with "W" maker's mark for West & Son of Dublin and three hallmarks of a Hibernia mark, a harp mark, and a date mark of "M", "N", or "O" for 1907, 1908, and 1909. Total weight including non-sterling components: 95.11 ozt. Early 20th century. Kettle 10 1/2" HOA.

Condition

Good to very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, other minor to moderate imperfections including nicks, dents, and/or worn spots to decoration; kettle with sizable dent to one side and a moderate dent to other side, burner with cap slightly loose at hinge but includes securing pin, handle slightly bent.
