EGYPTIAN "GRAND TOUR" AND OTHER ARTICLES, LOT OF 30, including 24 assorted figural scarabs including two carved soapstone examples, a ceramic flower frog example with mottled glaze, and 21 carved soapstone beads inscribed to underside, a pottery oil lamp with pharaoh mask design, and a 5 7/8" LOA pottery ushabti figure inscribed with hieroglyphs. 20th century or earlier. Pottery scarab 6 3/8" LOA.
Provenance: From the Eddie Tatum estate collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Most good to very good condition; large soapstone scarabs with some scattered scratches; beads with some expected wear; ushabti having broken and glued head with some losses.
