ENGLISH / BELGIAN TRANSFER-PRINTED CHILDREN'S PLATES, LOT OF SIX,
comprising five having additional polychrome enamel decorations including one example with "CHINOIS" featuring two Chinese children with a bird tied to a string and embossed flower bud border decoration, one featuring "ROBINSON CRUSOE", and three ABC plates including "OLD MOTHER HUBBARD" and "CHAIRS TO MEND", and one black transfer example featuring three young ladies with "Pray tell us ladies if you can..." poem. In addition to some pattern names, marks to underside include printed "J.B. CAPPELLEMANS / AINE / JEMMAPES", "ENGLAND" with registry numbers, and impressed "1868 / J.B. CAPPELLEMANS / AINE / JEMMAPES", an eagle with shield having "ADAMS / WARRANTED / STAFFORDSHIRE".
