ENGLISH BLUE-DECORATED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising four hand-painted examples including a toy jug/pitcher with delicate floral sprig design, an open-handled bowl with Chinoiserie pagoda motif, and a 10 1/8" D shell edge plate with embossed floral border decoration, and six transfer-printed examples including a tea strainer featuring Ridgway's Beehive pattern, a pearlware shell edge vase on a rectangular base with Chinoiserie scene, and three Worcester porcelain examples including a cup and saucer set with floral motif and a saucer with Chinoiserie pattern. William Ridgway, Shelton, Hanley, England. First half 19th century. 6 5/8" HOA.
