ENGLISH CREAMWARE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN MARKET JUG / PITCHER, having black transfer designs, one side depicting a tall-masted ship flying an American flag, titled "SHIP CAROLINE" below, reverse side featuring the coat of arms for the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, titled "THE SHIPWRIGHT'S ARMS" above, and having "JAMES LEECH" printed within a floral wreath below spout and the United States seal below. Unmarked. Possibly Staffordshire. Circa 1930. 9 1/8" HOA.
