Marks to underside include blue-printed crown with "TOURAINE / STANLEY POTTERY CO / ENGLAND", shield with "TOURAINE / SEMI PORCELAIN / HENRY ALCOCK & CO LD / ENGLAND", "ENGLAND", registry numbers, and various impressed numerals. Fifty-eight undamaged, some having expected usage wear and moderate crazing; pitcher with glued repair to lower handle terminal; one saucer with two minute rim flakes to underside; large platter with restoration to rim chip; one 5 1/4" D bowl with flake to rim underside; one 6 1/2" D plate with minute flake to rim underside; two 10" D plate with minute flake to rim underside, one with faint hairline, one with restoration to rim chip. Manufacturing flaws including saucer with glazed over firing separation, as made.
