Marks to underside include printed pattern names and a globe with "WH GRINDLEY & Co ENGLAND", a pagoda with "W. ADAMS & Co / ENGLAND", an urn having "DOULTON" below, a crown having "OPAQUE CHINA / S.H. & S. ENGLAND" below, and impressed "BURSLEM / DOULTON / ENGLAND". William Adams & Co., Tunstall/Stoke; W.H.
