ENGLISH SHELLEY "MELODY" CERAMIC TEA AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF 27, each featuring a charming polychrome floral transfer design on light green, including a 14 3/8" D plaque with three holes to foot ring for hanging, a square-form sweet meat plate, six cup and saucer sets, six 6" D plates, and six 7" D scalloped gilt rim plates. Marks to underside include green-printed "FINE BONE CHINA / Shelley / ENGLAND", each with pattern name, and numbers "13453" or hand-brushed "L12974/35". Shelley Pottery, Staffordshire, England. 20th century. 2 5/8" HOA.
Condition
Twenty-six undamaged, except some having light short scattered scratches from use; charger having some areas of professional restoration.
