ENGLISH SPATTERWARE FLORAL MOTIF CERAMIC TEAPOT AND COVERED SUGAR, LOT OF TWO, each having panelled body with an octagonal foot, featuring a charming polychrome hand-painted rose-style flower with periwinkle petals and deep purple-sponged decoration. Teapot having incised "X" to underside, otherwise unmarked. Second quarter 19th century. 8 1/2" HOA.
Each cover having some professional restoration including sugar to one corner and teapot with finial reattached, and each having some minor scattered glaze wear.
