ENGLISH TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CHILDREN'S TOYS / OPEN SALTS, LOT OF EIGHT, including five blue transfer examples including a pearlware example with floral motif and two depicting "COLONIAL" pattern, as printed to underside, a pink/red transfer toy plate depicting figures overlooking a large pagoda-style building, and two polychrome floral transfer examples including one James Kent example with Chintz "Du Barry" pattern. Marks to underside include a printed figure holding a sign with "WOODS / BURSLEM / ENGLAND", "MADE IN / ENGLAND", "COALPORT / A.D. 1750.", and impressed and printed "WOOD'S / ENGLAND".
