ENGLISH WALNUT AUTOMATON BRACKET CLOCK, bell-strike, featuring engraved dial with Roman numerals, single-bell strike figure, engraved "JOHNSON / LONDON" on back plate, with heart-shaped keeper. Key present. Case retains an old surface with warm color. Possibly after London clockmaker Jeremiah Johnson. Probably 19th century. 18" H, 12" W, 8" D.
Condition
Very good overall condition, break with associated repair to lower right molding and an old crack to molding near brass handle, and with minor wear. Currently not running (See Catalogue Guarantee).
