EUROPEAN ARMORIAL ENAMEL-DECORATED GLASS TALL TANKARD STEIN, emerald green with polychrome-enamel decoration, featuring a central armorial crest, beaded stylized flowers spaced throughout the body, applied prunts to the base edge and top rim, period pewter mount with original green glass insert, polished pontil mark. Maker unverified. Second half 19th century. 16 3/4" HOA.
Condition
Having cracks in the body adjacent to the terminals of the handle; some scattered light wear.
