EUROPEAN SIDE CHAIRS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a European marquetry example with a shield-form back above an upholstered seat, the whole covered in detailed inlaid marquetry designs; and a French Louis XV-style chair painted black with gold moire-silk-style upholstery. Late 19th century. Marquetry example 35" HOA, 19 1/4" WOA, 16 1/2" DOA.
