FINE RIB / REEDED (OMN) WATER BOTTLE AND TUMBLE-UP, colorless lead glass, bulbous pint bottle with ribs ending at a plain band around the base, polished pontil mark, well-fitting tapered tumbler. Probably together by association. New England Glass Co., Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., and possibly others. 6 7/8" HOA, 6 1/4" H bottle, 3 1/2" H tumbler.
Literature: Parallels The Acorn, Volume 7, 1997, p. 83, No. 532 on plate 10 of the reprint of the 1868-1869 New England Glass Co. trade catalogue.
Provenance: The Joan E. Kaiser collection, East Sandwich, MA (retains collection label).
Undamaged with the bottle having some light interior residue. Each having a couple minute instances of roughness, as made.
