FINE VIRGINIA FEDERAL INLAID WALNUT HUNTBOARD, an outstanding example retaining original height, the two-board rectangular top with pronounced overhang to back above two short drawers flanked by fielded-panel doors, all raised on tall square-tapered legs, drawers featuring line inlay and stylized quarter fans. Yellow pine secondary wood. Retains an old surface with likely original brass hinges and turned wooden knobs. Probably Piedmont Virginia. First quarter 19th century. 46 1/2" H, 60 1/4" x 22 1/4" top.
