FINELY CUT PEACOCK FEATHER GLASS CELERY VASE, colorless, deep bowl with a cut peacock feather pattern, scalloped rim, raised on a cut-fluted stem, applied circular foot, rayed to the underside. United States, possibly Bakewell, Page & Bakewell or Dorflinger. 1820-1850. 10 3/8" H, 5" D rims, 4 7/8" D foot.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservations, and future acquisitions.
Virtually undamaged with a single flake to the edge of one cut.
