FOUR FREE-BLOWN CORNUCOPIA-FORM VASES, deep amethyst and translucent powder blue, amethyst examples are pillar-molded, each plastered into a gilt-brass hand-form mount bolted to a rectangular marble base. Probably Europe. Second half 19th century. 6 3/8" to 7" HOA, 3" x 5 5/8" bases.
One amethyst having a chip to the rim resulting in a small loose; one blue having post-production grinding to the rim and a few scattered flakes to the rim; remainder undamaged with each having wear, especially to the marble, marble bases having scattered roughness.
