FREE-BLOWN AND CASED GLASS OPEN COMPOTE, colorless to opaque white, large and deep bowl with a flaring rim, raised on a tall spool standard and applied circular foot, rough pontil mark. Pittsburgh area. Circa 1850. 8 3/4" H, 10 3/4" D rim, 5 1/2" D foot.
