FREE-BLOWN AND ENGRAVED GLASS PAIR OF OPEN COMPOTES, colorless, each having a hemispherical bowl with an engraved band of floral decoration including roses, raised on solid baluster-form stem, and applied circular feet, polished pontil mark. Probably Pittsburgh area. 1825-1840. 7 3/8" and 7 1/2" H, 9 1/4" D rims.
