FREE-BLOWN COVERED SUGAR BOWL, colorless, compressed globular form bowl with wide, galleried rim, raised on a circular foot with rough pontil mark, high-domed cover topped by an applied spool-like finial with a polished pontil mark. Probably Pittsburgh area. 1800-1850. 7" HOA, 3 7/8" H bowl, 4 5/8" D rim.

Excellent condition with roughness/flaking to the top of the cover finial; having some scattered wear.
