FREE-BLOWN, CUT, AND ENGRAVED GLASS 11-PIECE WINE SET, strong teal with engraved decoration, each having an ovoid bowl with eight basal flutes running down the stem, an upper engraved band of entwined thistles, applied circular foot. Maker unverified, probably English. 19th century. 4 3/4" H.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
One having a small chip to the base edge; remainder undamaged with one having interior residue.
