FREE-BLOWN GLASS PIPE WHIMSY, two-piece construction involving a deep blue deep bowl with pulled extension with applied opal rim, connected to an opaque white extension with a three-knop throat, pieces together by association. Second half 19th century. 20 1/2" LOA.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Very good condition overall with some chipping and roughness to the mouth; plaster connection being slightly loose.
