FREE-BLOWN GLASS TRUMPET VASE AND WITCH BALL, colorless and cobalt blue, trumpet vase having a conical bowl with a lower blue acorn-form base, raised on colorless waisted stem and an applied circular foot, wafer construction, rough pontil mark; topped by a matching cobalt blue witch ball. Pittsburgh area. 1810-1840. 11 7/8" HOA, 9 1/4" H vase, 4 3/4" D rim, 3 7/8" D foot.
