FREE-BLOWN GLASS WITCH/COVER BALL AND STAND, colorless with opal loopings, spherical with ball having a rough pontil opening, resting on a waisted and knopped colorless stand. New England area. First half 19th century. 10" HOA. Witch Ball: 4 7/8" H. Stand: 5 1/2" H.
Condition
Witch ball undamaged with a slight purple tint and interior residue; stand having some adjacent flaking to the top rim, some light surface wear to each article.
