FREE-BLOWN OPAL SWIRL COVERED SUGAR BOWL, colorless with applied blue rim and opal swirling, globular bowl with a galleried rim, loops are swirling to the right, matching cover with a tooled rim and applied solid finial, applied circular foot, rough pontil mark. Probably Pittsburgh area. First half 19th century. 6 3/8" HOA, 4 1/2" D rim, 2 1/2" D foot.
