 FRENCH LIMOGES GAME BIRD MOTIF PORCELAIN PLAQUES, LOT OF FIVE, each featuring bright polychrome hand-painted scenes and one hole to foot ring for hanging, comprising three examples depicting colorful pheasant-like birds including one signed "Rene" and two signed "L. Coudert" depicting quail/grouse-like birds. Each having green-printed mark to underside including one with "LIMOGES / B. & H. / FRANCE", one having a torch with "LIMOGES / LOBC / LAMBEAU / FRANCE / HAND PAINTED", and three featuring a crown with "LIMOGES / CORONET / FRANCE". 1900-1915. 9 7/8" to 10 3/4" D.

Condition

Mostly undamaged, except B. & H. example having a minor flake to rim underside and some having minute glaze wear spots.
