FRENCH LIMOGES HAND-PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUES, LOT OF FOUR, each having a hole or holes to foot ring for hanging, comprising three signed bird examples including signatures "Rene", Baumy", and "Duval" and one unsigned example featuring beautiful iris motif. Each having green-printed mark to underside including a torch with "LOBC / LAMBEAU / LIMOGES / FRANCE / HAND PAINTED", a crown with "LIMOGES / CORONET / FRANCE", "LIMOGES / W.G. & Co / FRANCE", and "Blakeman & Henderson / Limoges-France". Late 19th/early 20th century. 11 7/8" to 13 1/4" D.
Condition
Three undamaged; Baumy signed example having two areas of yellowing restoration visible to back.
