FRENCH LIMOGES PORCELAIN ART NOUVEAU PAIR OF PLAQUES, each featuring polychrome transfer and hand-painted images of stunning young women, one brunette and the other red-haired, wearing flowing dresses with strands of pearls in their hair, having beautiful floral bouquets in foreground, raised gilt foliate and accents on light green ground, and a scrolled gilt rim, each having four holes to foot ring for hanging. Each having green-printed "LIMOGES / *** / FRANCE" mark to underside. Late 19th/early 20th century. 13 3/8" DOA.
Condition
Mostly undamaged, except brunette example having a gilt-painted rim flake and each having some wear to gilt-decorated rim.
