FRENCH SAMSON PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED COVERED URN, featuring bold polychrome decorations depicting colorful Chelsea-style birds with scattered foliate and insects, and gilt accents. Gilt anchor mark to underside. Edme Samson, Paris, France. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. 11 7/8" HOA.
Provenance: Property of a Williamsburg, VA lady.
Mostly undamaged, except having minor flake to finial tip and some wear to gilt decorations.
