FRENCH ZWIENER JANSEN BRONZE PAIR OF FIGURAL SCONCES, each depicting a Melusina with arms upstretched, a candle-cup mounted to top of head, each initialed on reverse "ZJ". Retain an old surface with verdigris. Circa 1900. 17 1/2" HOA.
As-found condition, one with probably later gas conversion, other shows evidence of same, some small spots of corrosion.
