GALLE FIRE-POLISHED IRIS CAMEO ART GLASS VASE, blue to translucent amber, cylindrical form with a trefoil rim, depicting a large iris with a reaching bud and grass blades, plain reverse, surface fire-polished, applied silver-plate base with stamped ornamentation, signed to the underside "Galle", polished pontil mark. France. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7" H.
Excellent condition overall with some light wear to the body; underside having a single sliver chip and some roughness to the edge, silver base having a minor repair.
