ELEPHANT AND DONKEY FIGURAL STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, colorless fonts, each having a lobed and waffled font, raised on either a figural Donkey or Elephant stem created to represent the Republican and Democratic political parties, each having a period brass collar with shoulder plate with the Donkey having a fancy shoulder plate. Gallinger & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 10 3/8" and 10 1/2" H, 4 5/8" SQ base.
