GEORGIAN WALNUT HIGHBACK CORNER CHAIR, two-tier back with pierced splats and shaped arm rests, above a finely upholstered slip seat, raised on a cabriole front leg and three tapered round legs, all terminating in pad feet. Retains an old surface with warm color. Second half 18th century. 41 1/2" HOA, 20" H seat, 22" D seat.

Excellent overall condition, old repair to rail below upper splat, crack to base of one lower splat, replaced seat blocking, minor wear.
