GERMAN CERAMIC FIGURAL CHERUB MINIATURE LAMP, white ground with multi-color decoration, elongonated-form font with applied angels, leaves and budding flowers, underside of base stamped "238" with blue crossed arrows under the glaze, dark to light pink opalescent panel-optic shade with scalloped rim and colorless applied edge, period collar. Fitted with a Kaestner & Toebellman burner, colorless chimney. Bros. Voigt and Alfred Voigt Sitzendorf. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 11 3/8" H to top of shade, 6" H to top of collar, 5" D base.

Condition

Very good condition, several scattered minute flakes, shade undamaged and with normal as-made fitter roughness, collar with a dent. Burner with some minor corrosion, chimney undamaged.
