GERMAN ERNST PLANK MAGIC LANTERN WITH ACCESSORIES, sheet iron with worn japanned finish and brass projector, supported by four paw feet, hinged side door with attached label marked "E. P.", fitted with a sliding metal font and duplex burner, various accessories include two slide-lid boxes with original labeling and slides, wooden slide including one fitted with a hand-crank kaleidoscope, and focusing lens. Fitted in original wooden box, hinged lid with manufacturer's paper label. Fourth quarter 19th century. Box 6" H.
Provenance: Property of a Richmond, VA private collection.
Condition
Very good overall condition, slides with minor signs of wear, box with minor losses to labeling. Unknown working condition.
