GERMAN MEISSEN HAND-PAINTED PORCELAIN OPEN SALTS, LOT OF FOUR, each having polychrome decorations, comprising two double-form examples with center loop handle featuring bird motif, one tri-footed shell-form example featuring a romantic couple to interior, the man playing a flute, one tri-lobed example with relief floral decorations. Marks to underside include underglaze blue-crossed swords and "AR" to underside. Together with a Meissen-style ovoid-form example raised on four scrolled feet with figurehead busts of four women below bowl, having blue-crossed swords mark to underside. Five pieces total. Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Meissen, Germany. 19th century. 3 3/8" HOA.
