GERMAN MEISSEN PORCELAIN RETICULATED BOLTED COMPOTE, having polychrome hand-painted decorations with delicate applied flowers, featuring a girl and boy putto chasing each other around the molded stump and rock stem with an open-handled ovoid-form basket to top. Marks to underside include an underglaze hand-brushed blue crossed swords mark, impressed "72", and incised "A 49". Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Meissen, Germany. Second half 19th/early 20th century. 15 5/8" HOA. 

Condition

Some applied flowers having scattered losses to petals, otherwise undamaged.
