GORHAM COIN SILVER SCENT / PERFUME BOTTLE, gold-washed decoration pointed oval-form bottle base with foliate top, fluted sides, and engraved decoration, original threaded cap, attached to a short chatelaine chain. Marked to base with the three Gorham pseudo hallmarks utilized from 1852 to 1865 as well as a "10" pattern number mark. Total weight: 0.640 ozt. Gorham & Co./Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. Mid 19th century. 2 1/8" HOA without chain.
Provenance: From a Charlottesville, VA estate.

Condition

Very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, some minor denting and nicks, worn spots to gold-washed finish, a moderate dent to base of bottle.
