GREENE CO., TENNESSEE WALNUT PUNCHED-TIN-PANELED FOOD / PIE SAFE, rectangular top over two dovetailed drawers with period wooden knobs, and two hinged doors, each set with four joined tins hand-punched with a fylfot and star design, each end set with two joined tins with same design, the whole raised on turned feet. Poplar secondary wood. Retains an old refinished surface with warm color. Mid 19th century. 48 1/2" H, 53" W, 18 1/2" D.

Condition
Very good overall condition, patch repairs to doors at center junction, interior altered for an entertainment center, lacking original shelves, back panel cut in half and one side removed, but present, back top rail with patch.
