HARRISONBURG, SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA "SILAS GREEN FROM NEW ORLEANS" POSTERS, UNCOUNTED LOT, lithographed on paper, all depicting, in some form, the advertisement for the traveling minstrel/variety show "Silas Green from New Orleans" when the show came to Harrisonburg, VA, several have "HARRISONBURG" stenciled on the front. Circa 1940. One of the largest 41" HOA, 21" WOA.
Catalogue Note: "Silas Green from New Orleans" was a long-running vaudeville/variety show which was owned and performed by African Americans.
Condition
As-found condition, many in very poor condition with rips, missing sections, others with sections cut out.
