HERBERT B. HICKS (WASHINGTON, DC, 1894-1973) ORIGINAL ILLUSTRATIONS, LOT OF FOUR, ink on card stock and illustration board, two depicting Abraham Lincoln (one with unfinished sketches to verso), one depicting a World War I soldier with gun, and one depicting a man with an instrument on a tripod, each signed "H. Hicks". Together with Hicks' 1911 elementary school diploma and a 1917 Honorable Mention certificate award from the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. Six pieces total. First half 20th century. 14 1/4" x 11 3/4" OA.

Condition

Illustrations in very good condition with some light soiling, diploma excellent, certificate fair with tears and chipping.
