Signed on front free end-paper by co-authors Herbert Hoover and Hugh Gibson, additional presentation inscription by Paul Clapp who worked as a personal assistant to Hoover. With dust jacket. Together with (2) Hoover, The Challenge to Liberty. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934. First edition with A to reverse of title page. Laid in printed card "The Compliments of herbert hoover." Two volumes total.
