VH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE (SXS) DOUBLE-BARREL SHOTGUN, 12 gauge, frame size 2, weight 41, casehardened action features automatic safety and is engraved with fancy "Parker Bros." on each side within zipper and dot borders, double triggers with serial number on tang, barrels marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL” to center rib and having proof marks to flats, watertable marked with "PARKER BROS. / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.", 1887, 1905, and 1910 patent dates, and “VH”, barrel lug, watertable, and underside of forearm also marked with serial number, checkered walnut stock and forearm with 1878 patent date on release tang, Parker capped pistol grip, and Parker Brothers hunting dog relief buttplate.
